Fourth grade’s annual “Battle of the Books” kicks off February 21st! To ensure the success of this reading-loving competition, we need parent volunteers to help with checking kids’ story maps. Story map checking will run from 8-8:30am beginning on Feb. 26 through May. Five to eight parents are needed each day to help with all the 4th grade classes. Although volunteering is great for 4th grade parents– it gives you one-on-one time with your child and his or her classmates– it’s also ideal for anyone who has a half hour to spare in the morning. Bring your coffee!
