Message from Learning to Look Program Coordinator
I am very excited to bring a new and improved Learning to Look back to Northeast this year.  I’ve taught this program in the 4th and 5th grades in other Stamford elementary schools for several years and I’ve found it to be tremendously rewarding. We need one parent volunteer (or two) from each 4th and 5th grade class to teach a series of 5 lessons spread out over the course of the school year, culminating (hopefully) in a trip to the Yale University Art Gallery New Haven to see the art in person. The curriculum covers, among other topics, portraits, landscapes, sculpture and still lifes.  I will give you all the tools you need to be successful – NO background in teaching or art is required. Email me at [email protected] or call me at 917-837-4519.
