Northeast Elementary School PTO

**For those who prefer, donations are welcome! Our goal is to raise $3000 and all monies collected will be divided among the families in need. Donations can be made to the PTO via Venmo @NEPTO (please be sure to put HOLIDAY FOOD DRIVE in the notes!)

Please have your child place the food in the boxes located outside the school’s main office. In order to collect a well-rounded supply of food, each grade is being asked to focus on specific items:

• Kindergarten: nutrition bars, breakfast cereals, instant oatmeal
• 1st grade: pasta, jarred pasta sauce, rice (white & brown)
• 2nd grade: peanut butter, jelly (grape & strawberry)
• 3rd grade: shelf-stable milk, fruit cups, applesauce pouches
• 4th grade: canned soups, dried beans (1 lb. bags)
• 5th grade: canned protein (tuna, salmon, chicken)

The following holiday-specific items are also welcome:

• Instant mashed potatoes
• Creamed corn
• Cranberry sauce (whole or jellied)
• Canned yams/sweet potatoes
• Canned green beans
• Canned fruit
• Turkey gravy mix
• Canned pumpkin pie mix
• Evaporated milk
• Stuffing mix
