In addition to wearing fun mismatched clothes, this will be a Mix-It-Up Lunch day, where student swill be given random lunch table assignments in the cafeteria. Teachers and parent volunteers will join the students at each table to encourage conversation and activities. Mix-It-Up Lunch is a “national campaign launched by Teaching Tolerance in 2002 that encourages students to identify, question and cross social boundaries.”
