WHAT IS IT?

Let’s get ready to do the Northeast Monster Dash! We’re kicking off our BIGGEST school fundraiser of the year! The Monster Dash is an outdoor fun run and obstacle course for all Northeast students that will be held on Friday, October 27th (rescheduled due to rain).

WHAT IS OUR GOAL?

To raise $31,415 (which is the first 5 digits of π “pi”) for student enrichment programs, field trips and extracurricular experiences like our Talent Show, all-school assemblies, 5th grade musical, Science Fair, Field Days, family events, and more! The PTO and staff have planned this fundraiser, so we get to keep all the money that we raise!! 

INCENTIVES

If we meet our fundraising goal of $31,415 Dr. Marinello, Mrs. Lubowitz and Coach P will get “pied” in the face at a school assembly by the top 3 individual fundraisers! 

∗Every student receives a trendy Monster Dash bandana

∗Every class with 100% participation (no amount is too small!) will receive a bonus recess day!

∗The top fundraising class in each grade level wins a party from the PTO (choice of: Slime-Making party, Cookie Decorating Party, Pajama Breakfast Bash Party, or Cotton Candy Making Party).

HOW TO SUPPORT OUR MONSTER DASH FUNDRAISER

We are excited to streamline the fundraising by using 99Pledges, which allows you to reach out to friends and family by email, Facebook, and Twitter for donations. The PTO and staff have planned this fundraiser, so we get to keep all the money that we raise!! 

  • Be on the lookout for an email coming from 99Pledges/NortheastMonsterDash2023 with a link to your child’s online pledge page.
  • Invite family and friends to support your Northeast student by making a pledge
  • Online donations can be made by credit card via your child’s personal pledge page through Friday, October 27th
  • Cash or check (made out to NEPTO) donations can be sent in to the school in an envelope with your student’s name and teacher’s name. The PTO will enter those donations into the system to track your child’s progress. Cash/check donations will be accepted until Friday, October 27th
  • Our goal is to have 100% student participation so please know that no amount is too small!

 

 

Volunteers are needed to help with set up on the morning of the Monster Dash (Fri Oct 20th) and to direct kids along the course and to take pictures while they race. Only volunteers will be allowed to attend the event. Rain date will be October 27th. Click here to sign up to volunteer.
