Winter Clothes Drive & Clothing Donations

Thank you to everyone that has donated to our Share the Warmth Winter Clothes Drive! If you have items to donate, we are still in need of size Medium and Large winter coats, as well as winter gloves. The Northeast clothes closet could also use more donations of gently used dresses and pants for boys and girls.

A collection box is located at the Main Entrance. Please contact the PTO with any questions. Thank you for your generosity!

First Grade Thanksgiving Show

A turkey’s best instrument might be its drumstick, but our Northeast first graders used their fabulous voices in a Thanksgiving concert for their families today. It’s just one of the many experiences we are grateful to be able to share with our community this year! Thank you to our music director, Mr. Barbour, for directing the performance today. And Bravo first graders!

Book Fair Thank you

Thank you to all our Northeast families for supporting the Fall Book Fair!! You helped us raise funds for our students to use for field trips and enrichment this year.

We hope the kids enjoyed shopping at the fair and benefited from the experience of counting and budgeting their money. Every student at Northeast went home with quality books last week, thanks to the many fantastic donations we received. Our bargain books table was a HUGE hit!

Finally, if you have unused eWallet funds, you can shop our on-line book fair using the following link https://www.scholastic.com/bf/northeastelementaryschool. Otherwise, those funds will remain in your Scholastic account as a gift card and can be applied to our Spring Book Fair.

Happy Reading Northeast Stars!!!

Northeast Garden Volunteers

Yellow and Blue turn our Northeast garden GREEN, but we need YOUR help to make it grow.

Soil and seeds have arrived, and we are ready to start planting the garden in the Northeast courtyard. If you are interested in helping, please email the PTO. Dates and times are flexible.

With your support, our students will enjoy watering and tending the garden this fall while watching the fruits of their labor grow.
