6/20: 2018-19 Class Placement Coffees

Teachers have already begun collaborating to create classes for the 2018-19 school year. The process involves looking at gender, ethnicity, academic ability and the need for additional services. The school’s goal is to create balanced classrooms so that all students and teachers have comparable work environments. Ass’t Principal Kathy Lane will host two coffees for parents that want to bring exceptional cases to the school’s attention with regards to class placement for their children. Forms will be available to share important information that will inform the placement process. Forms will not be handed out or accepted after the coffees, so plan to attend either the June 20th Morning Session at 8:30am or the June 20th Evening Session at 6pm. Please note that the school will not accept requests for specific teachers at any time. Please contact the main office with any questions.
