The Parent Teacher Council (PT Council) of Stamford, CT is a strong citywide organization working exclusively on behalf of children and youth. Our primary objective is to unite our twenty individual schools’ PTOs and to strengthen the family unit through parent involvement. The PT Council is made up of an Executive Board and a representative from all 20 Stamford Public Schools grades K-12. We provide workshops, leadership development, information, and programs; coordinate programs and projects of member units; and work to promote parent-teacher partnerships in the school district and wider community.
