10/15: Apex Remix Pep Rally- GO TEAM NORTHEAST!

Monday, 10/15 is a big day at Northeast, as the Apex Remix team will be at school to kick off the next two weeks of leadership lessons with a raucous Pep Rally! Please be sure to check your child’s folder Monday afternoon for a pledge kit that includes a personalized access code to log pledges online. Start helping your child collect pledges by calling family and friends and sharing your child’s pledge page on www.apexfunrun.com. Don’t forget to check our PTO Facebook Page daily over the next two weeks to see more about each day’s lesson.

10/10: Rescheduled Nature’s Classroom Q&A for Kids

Due to the power outage on the 28th, the Nature’s Classroom Q&A has been rescheduled to Wednesday, October 10th at 10am. A representative from Nature’s Classroom will host an informational Q&A for students and available parents at Northeast. The Nature’s Classroom Camping Trip has been a 5th grade tradition at Northeast for nearly 20 years. A 4-day/3-night outdoor education program, Nature’s Classroom is often the highlight of many of our students’ elementary school careers. The info session will include a slideshow and a discussion of Nature’s Classroom activities. 5th grade students will attend the meeting and all interested parents should feel free to attend, as well. If you’re the parent of a 4th or 5th grader, this is your chance to find out more about the program. The info session will not include details on costs. A more finance-focused meeting will occur later in October. Please contact Mrs. Liner with any questions.

Northeast Family Photo Shoot- Book Your 10/06 Session Today!

Once again, Northeast’s very own Eddie Berman is opening up his professional photography studio to Northeast Families as a fundraiser for the school. Eddie Berman Photography is offering 20-minute professional in-studio family photo shoot for Northeast Families! Each session is $100 and all proceeds go directly to Northeast School. After your shoot, you will receive a link to all final images in JPEG and TIFF formats that you can save, print, post, or use for your holiday cards. THANK YOU, Eddie Berman Photography!

All photo shoots will take place on Saturday, October 6th, 9:30am- 4pm with sessions on the half hour. Sign up for your photo shoot now! Eddie Berman Photography is located at 652 Glenbrook Road, Studio 7 in Stamford.

Checks should be made payable to “NEPTO” and deposited in the PTO Mailbox in the Main Office with a note specifying what the check is for. Please contact Co-PTO President Alyssa Bernstein with any questions.
