NEPTO is sponsoring its last restaurant takeover of the year at Westchester Burger Company in Stamford on Wedneday, May 23rd! Nothing says summer like  a delicious burger & fries and when the PTO receives 20% of the profit, it’s a win-win for everyone! 5/22: We’re So Fancy Formal Wear Tuesday & Mix-It-Up Lunch

It’s our last Mix-It-Up Lunch of the 2017-18 school year and we’re wrapping it up in style. Tuesday, May 22nd is Formal Wear Tuesday! Dress your best and walk with pride & confidence. As always, parent volunteers go a long way to help facilitate conversations at lunch tables. Please consider stopping by or signing up to volunteer for a lunch shift between 11am-1pm on the 22nd. 5/18: Incoming Kindergarten Orientation– Help Welcome Our Future Kindergarteners!

Do you have a child who will be entering Kindergarten in the 2018-2019 school year? Northeast will welcome the incoming kindergarten class on Friday, May 18th at 9am for a fun-filled introduction to the school. Come find out more about Northeast, tour the school, and take a ride on the school bus!

This is a fun event at Northeast. We do require volunteers to help with the day. Please consider signing up to help. Contact Amanda Dec with any questions.

5/18: Let’s Play! Annual Northeast Son Night, 6:30-8pm

The PTO is pleased to sponsor the Annual Northeast Son Night on Friday, May 18th from 6:30-8pm. Sons– grab your mom, aunt, or special someone and spend the evening playing games, laughing, and eating pizza & ice cream at school with your friends! Admission is $10 per child in advance (free admission for Moms, Aunts or Special Someones!), with a $25 maximum per family. Admission will be $12/son at the door. Ticket price includes refreshments, games & prizes, and a photograph of each son and his guest.

Download a ticket order form to pre-purchase $10 tickets. Orders due to the PTO Mailbox in the Main Office by Monday, May 14th. If you would like to volunteer for this event, we would love to have you! Please contact Shelby Reynolds to see how you can help!

We Love Our Teachers– Let’s Feed Them! Teacher Appreciation Luncheon is 5/9

The hard-working teachers and staff at Northeast do so much for us and our children; now it’s our turn to honor them. As part of Teacher Appreciation Week,  we’ll treat our Northeast teachers and staff to a buffet-style luncheon on Wednesday, May 9th, from 11am-1pm in the Teacher’s Lounge.

5/9-10: Scholastic Spring Book Fair Comes to Northeast

The Northeast Spring Book Fair is Wednesday, May 9th & Thursday, May 10th from 8 am – 3:30 pm in the school gym. Check your child’s folder for a schedule of each class’s visit to the fair or download the schedule to see when your child will visit the fair. Volunteers are always needed to assist students with selecting and purchasing books. Sign up to help when your child’s class visits the fair or anytime over the 2-day sale. You may also purchase a gift certificate for your teacher to use at the Spring Book Fair. They make great gifts for Teacher Appreciation Week, which happens to be the same week as the fair this year!
