Northeast Yearbooks

yearbookYearbooks are almost sold out!!!

Northeast Yearbooks were distributed last week (not all teachers handed them out right away; check with your teacher if you didn’t get yours). If you missed pre-ordering your yearbook, a limited supply is still available for sale on a first-come, first-served basis. Yearbooks are $22 each.

There are two ways to order:

1) Online, with a credit card

2) Print the order form, write a check for $22 (made out to NEPTO, memo: “yearbook”) or enclose cash, and send it in an envelope to the PTO mailbox (attn: Yearbook Orders).

If you have any questions, please contact Anne Flounders.

Family Movie Night

Norm_of_the_North_posterSave the date for this awesome FREE community event on the evening of June 16th. It’s the last day of school, so you can let bedtimes slide and enjoy an outdoor movie —  “Norm of the North” — with your Northeast family and friends. Bring blankets and chairs!

Movie start time is 8:30 pm and there will be a fun Zumba Fitness Class for everyone before the movie at 7:15 pm.

Bring money to buy treats at a Bake Sale supporting the 2016-17 5th Grade Nature’s Classroom. The PTO will also be selling hot dogs, ice cream and more. (Sign up to contribute baked goods.)

This is a FAMILY event. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Food Drive Continues This Week

fooddriveNortheast School and the Girl Scouts of Connecticut have organized a food drive to help stock The Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County with donations for hungry kids and families throughout the summer. Please fill the boxes in the school’s entry way through Friday, June 10 with non-perishable items such as pasta, cereal, peanut butter and jelly, canned goods, applesauce and more. Be sure to bring donations to your classroom first so your teacher can record the donation: The class in each grade level that brings in the most items wins an ice cream party!
