Northeast School Has a New Principal

News from the Stamford Public Schools:

Hubert Joseph Gordon will become principal of Northeast Elementary School, replacing Connie Stevenson, who is retiring. Gordon comes to the district from the International Community School of Addis Ababa in Ethiopia. During his tenure there, Gordon served as deputy head of school, elementary principal, pre-K to 8 principal, and instructional coach. He also worked as a middle school assistant principal in the Bronx and a teacher with the New York City Department of Education. Gordon earned a Masters in Education from Bank Street College; a Master of Arts in Teaching Social Studies from CUNY Lehman College; and a Master of Arts in Theology from St. Vladimir’s Orthodox Seminary.
